Time
flies so fast, it’s already August! Have you guys prepared your requirements
for PRC? More or less at this time you should completed your requirements in
preparation for the exam application; deadline of application will be on September 13, 2015.
Next
month will be the mock exam schedule for the review center. Are you ready? I
know that mostly would say “NO”, but here is the thing... no one is
actually fully ready for any exam ever. When I scheduled my mock exam last
year, E and I chose the 1st week. At that time, we know that we’re
not really that ready for the mock exam.
We
chose the earliest schedule because we want to test what we know
up to that time frame. After the exam we’ll just review and access the things that we
missed in the mock exam. One of the advantage of taking the mock exam earlier
is that you can get the chance to check your papers on your own and even review
your mistakes. The review center allows the takers to manually check their
papers if they want to.
Talking
about the mock exam, the most difficult part for anyone is the Design subject.
I know that some of you would tell us that you haven’t even finished a single
plate from floor plan to rendered perspective in any deign subject class. Well
here is the thing, even in my time I haven’t completed any design plates during
the review. But the important thing is that you must strive to finish what you
can during the design subject session and the mock exam.
The
mock exam is the perfect opportunity to practice and know what you need to
prepare for the board exam itself. For example, what food would you be
preparing for the exam itself. I experimented tuna sandwich and spam sandwich,
these are foods that can be easily freshly prepared or cook every morning
before the exam starts. It is also the most convenient to carry and to eat
during the exam.
My
point is every small details like my example is really a big thing in the most
crucial time. Believe me when I say that you must attend all the possible mock
exam not just from the review center but also like from your university (some
universities prepare mock exams for their graduates for assessment). I attended
and finished both exam though my grades at that mock exams were not that good,
I’m still glad that I took the opportunity to be able to practice more and get
more helpful information and tips out of my mock exam experience.
Think
about it, there is nothing you can lose in trying and practicing more.
Until
next time,
Mikki
