Hello
guys! It has been already a month since the start of the review, how are you
holding up with the review? Are you already used to your routine since the
start of your review? Are you still eating properly and sleeping enough?
I
will be sharing daily routine schedule when I was still in the review class.
How I manage my review time efficiently and stress free!!!
Here
is a comic strip illustration of my schedule during the time that I still had review
class.
|
Advance
Reading
I
usually wake up before 7am, I start my day by advance reading on the subject
that will be discussed that day. Reading your lecture in advance can help you
understand more about the things you are reviewing.
Refresher
Review with a Partner
Usually
after the review class, me and E have an after class review session (refresher
review) at either of our houses. We often ask one another, which part of the
lecture was difficult to understand and find a solution to understand it better.
We
usually finish our refresher review at 6pm because we have been reviewing since
10am at CDEP.
Light
Advance Reading and Sleep Early
Before
I go to sleep, I try do more 2-3 pages of reading (if I'm not that tired from
the whole day of review). I usually go to sleep around 9am. I know, for some,
it may sound crazy that I’m reviewing and sleeping early.
Because
I'm a morning person, studying late at night won’t do for me, maybe for some
people studying late at night has a bigger advantage for them. That is why I
often slept early to be able to wake up early too.
Wrapping
up my daily routine experience, my advice for the board takers is that…..
1.
Know yourself
Are
you a morning person or a night person? On which time are you more productive?
2.
Be strict with
routine
Learn
to stick on your schedule and be able to discipline yourself until it becomes a
habit.
3.
Make it enjoyable
Try
to have variety in your studying styles. Perhaps you could look for a study
partner, for me it was better to review with another person than reviewing all
by myself. If you're going to be in a group, I recommend that you limit the
group at most to 3 persons. Tendency is that more people in the group might
also be more difficult to manage the review pace.
