LAST MINUTE "don't forget!" ITEMS

*We do not own this picture :)

For the board exam takers this year, 9 days left before the board exams!! I guess by now, all you should be doing is having last minute heavy studying and serious speed drafting too. The critical time is during the last 3-5 days before the exam where you should be resting, relaxing and do-not-panic mode

Sadly, there's still no news where the exam will be held, according to the PRC website. It's kind of hard to actually recommend more tips now that there are rumors that the exam might be held at St. Jude College. Anyway, I hope you guys still take note of the following:

Nom nom nom nom

#1 Drafting materials in an easy to carry and open box/suitcase/bag.

Of course, bring all your drafting materials!!! (But don't bring those prohibited ones) ALSO, bring practical things that you think may help you if ever that they ask you to do something... Out of this world. Haha! Hmm, oh and by practical I also meant scissors, stapler, cutter and an ordinary ruler etc.

YUUUUUUUUUP

#2 Bring your own table!!!

Here's the thing about bringing a table and why it's so important to know where you're taking the test. Last year at MLQU, almost everyone got the memo that if you're last name starts with letters N/O/P until Z, you HAD to bring your own table. Why, you ask? Mainly because there were seriously limited drafting tables!!!

Yes, it's a mystery why they don't provide enough drafting tables per room even if they know how many is supposed to be present at that day... Anyway! If you're there early, then lucky you, you can either claim the available drafting table in your room or steal some from the other room (if no one owns it). But then again, to be safe... Bring your own table.

Well, for this upcoming board examination, since there's still no official announcement where it will be held... I just suggest to anyone reading this to just buy a table. Or barrow from someone! I'm not really sure what courses St. Jude offer but (someone correct me!) according to their website, there are no courses that would require having drafting class or a drafting table. Meaning their classrooms either have long tables (like we had in UST) or seats with small tables.

Point is, because of the unpredictable looks of this year's board exam, better to be safe than sorry. :)

BEST COMBINATION, EVERRRRR.

#3 Sleep early, wake up early and eat right

Self-explanatory, you really don't want to be sick on the next few days. Being well rested helps alot. Trust me.

Order, order, order

#4 Prepare other things: Clothes to wear & food for baon

The usual attire during the board exam is a white shirt with collar and jeans. Yes, people from UST can use their uniform top.

Food for baon must be easy to grab and bite! Don't be so daring to bring rice&ulam/soup for food... You don't want ulam all over your test paper. Heehee.

#5 Relax

I was lying. You shouldn't be serious in studying right now... You should be relaxing and getting mentally ready for the 3days. I know, I know, you feel like you haven't studied enough or you forgot a lot of things that you need to cram or read all night. Trust me, when I tell you, it's not worth it. (#hugot)

As I said, it's better to be well-rested for the next few days rather than cramming, being cranky and feeling tired/sick.

There you guys go. I hope this calms you down a bit. Don't panic!!! You've been studying enough for months now, so give yourselves a break and relax. :)

Also, keep updated with the room assignments at the PRC Official Website. As of now, still no news on where the exams will be held but hopefully they post tomorrow!!! It's so hard for patience to be your virtue right now, I knooooow.

Cheers to the week ahead!
